Do I realize how much is going on in the next 6 weeks? I've got several quarterly journal issues coming in, there's NaNoWriMo, there's Thanksgiving, we're thinking of having our (mostly) yearly cookie party, and we are probably going out East for Christmas. What a terrible time to make a 10-pound weight loss goal. But this isn't a diet, it's portion restructuring, along with some physical activity, That's it. Because if I tell myself I can't eat, I will. (I've got potential TimTams coming, after all!) (And holiday parties.)
Oh, well. I always say I work best under pressure. I probably won't be updating much, but if anyone wants to lend support, come check this page out every now and again. And gimme some comments!
- 31 Oct 2006. Weigh-in (no, I'm not going to tell you.) I ate some halloween candy last night, but not much. It just didn't taste good (that's right, Imperatrix, use the power of the mind!). Except for gifts (which I share with the rest of the bunch), I will only eat organic chocolate. How's that for a bargain? OK, deal. No fibbing, now. OK.
- 2 Nov 2006. Weigh-in : -1 pound. Well, that's better than yesterday when I went *up* a pound (but who can trust scales, anyway?). I'm already bored. That's dangerous, becuase I'm a boredom-relieving eater. I haven't yet snuck down to the kitchen. but I know that'll come soon. I just need to stay vigilant and eat ice.
